Yixing Environmental Protection Public Welfare Lecture Hall Visits PepsiCo

On May 25, 2024, the Yixing Environmental Protection Public Welfare Lecture Hall (14th Lecture), themed "The Path of Scientific Research and Entrepreneurial Trajectory," was held at the new Baiside factory area.
Around 1:30 pm, more than eighty Yixing environmental protection professionals gathered in the Baiside company hall, divided into four teams, and toured the workshops of the new factory area, led by Baiside employees.
After the workshop tour, environmental protection professionals praised Baiside's new workshop layout, which is well-organized, and the implementation of 6S management is deeply rooted.
Subsequently, the group of environmental protection professionals gathered in the Baiside meeting room. Mr. Tao Shunsheng, General Manager of Baiside Company, first expressed gratitude for the Yixing Environmental Protection Public Welfare Lecture Hall coming to Baiside for the lecture and warmly welcomed the attendees. He then introduced the keynote speaker, Mr. Xie Weimin, Chairman and Founder of Baiside Company.
Chairman Xie shared Baiside's growth story, combining his thirty years of struggle.
He was originally an academic, employed as a doctoral researcher at Harbin Institute of Technology, possessing a solid academic foundation and accumulating rich professional knowledge. By chance, he came to Yixing, establishing a connection with the city and starting his entrepreneurial journey here, establishing the "Baiside" environmental protection enterprise, which has now celebrated its 30th anniversary. Throughout these years, he has maintained his unwavering pursuit of environmental protection, using his academic achievements to continuously promote technological innovation and sustainable development within the company.
Today, Chairman Xie shared his 40 years of academic and entrepreneurial experience without reservation, providing valuable experience and insights to local environmental protection personnel in Yixing.

Experiences and Insights from Participating in the 14th "Environmental Protection Lecture Hall"
This afternoon, the "Environmental Protection Lecture Hall" came to Baiside, where we listened to Dr. Xie Weimin, founder of Baiside, share his insights on "The Path of Scientific Research and Entrepreneurial Trajectory."
This was our first opportunity to experience Chairman Xie Weimin's demeanor up close. With his profound academic background, he eloquently recounted his 40-year journey of academic pursuits, entrepreneurship, and high-quality development to all the Yixing environmental protection professionals.
In his sharing, Chairman Xie did not use excessive embellishments, passionate speeches, or flowery language, nor did he express anxiety or impatience. Like a wise scholar, he calmly used simple language to recount every step of his journey from environmental engineering doctorate to entrepreneurship in environmental protection and energy-saving equipment, with every detail revealing his unwavering pursuit of his career and his dedication to technology.
Dr. Xie's life journey clearly demonstrates his belief and pursuit of green, efficient, humane, intelligent, and informational development. He frankly analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of process innovation (robots, photovoltaic power generation, etc.) in the construction of the new factory, reflecting not only his superb technological expertise but also his deep affection and strong sense of responsibility for environmental protection.
The entire listening process was like being in a university classroom in early summer, attentively listening to a two-hour lecture by a mentor, feeling the power of knowledge and the charm of wisdom.
Thank you Chairman Xie and Baiside for their selfless contribution and generous sharing with Yixing environmental protection professionals, which is also an encouragement to all participants!
